Beef Burger Bob's

We just moved over here and I kept seeing this place but had never tried it. I’ve tried most of the restaurants in town and had only found one I liked so far, until today. When you first go in it’s a small mom and pop place, decorated like a mix between an old style diner but with the vibe of home. We ordered two cheeseburgers and fries with drinks right around $20.00. The food was very good, and there was a ton of it. It sounds odd to say but the hamburger was cooked exactly like it’s supposed to be. Hamburgers are definitely one of my favorite foods but so many restaurants can’t get it right. Too many places try and cook a frozen patty and manicure its appearance and when they do that they take away everything that makes it good. I will always argue that the best, and most American type

I tried this place today for the first time. I just happened to notice it in neodashe ks. I got the paperback burger, it was absolutely delicious and juicy! Prices are awsome too. I got an order of culey qs, it was huge! Definitely will be returning

Today: update June17th 2022. A Memorial to the sandwiches pictured below. I am leaving the star rating as is, because I love this place and all places like this. Local tributes to small town diners - and keeping the local economy alive. We skipped breakfast in Springfield to specifically have lunch here. We were excited for the huge, size of a huge dinner plate pork tender and the chicken fried steak, also the size of a huge dinner plate! Plus our mouths were drooling for the huge portions of fresh cut Suzy Q fries. Arrived placed an order for 1 pork tender sandwich and fries for us (my husband and I to split and order the chicken fried steak sandwich if we were still hungry). Small town dinner and had a fun chat with Bob and his wife (they are characters). The special today (chicken noodle over mash potatoes) was excellent and the chocolate shake was great!

Unbelievable food! Very sweet couple that started the business 51 years ago. Definitely stop by if you can.
