Beechmoor Restaurant

I'm moving away from Yelp and moving to Google. This one is from the summer of 2020 and reads like a Covid-era review (ditto for the pics). Rather than update, I thought I would leave it as-is. Worth noting is that we now live about a half-hour away and have probably been there about a hundred times by now. Original: Great place! We stayed on the lake for a week and were regulars. We felt like locals by the end of our time and we only visited them 4 times. It's kinda neat when you call to reserve your piece of pie (insider tip!) and they recognize your name and ask (by name) if your wife wants anything also. Here's what we ate over the course of those four visits and some reflections: Cheese curds - tasty little fried yummies! If you're not familiar with them, just give them a shot.

Stopped in here for lunch on the snowmobile trail. Had the lunch special. Chili and Grilled Cheese. It was excellent. Staff was great. If you’re close by….stop. Unfortunately no pic. Take my word on it.

UPDATE 7/2020: Visited in summer of 2019 and again in July of 2020. Excellent food and service both times. The pie is a MUST!!! Homemade right there. ----- Delicious pizza with very generous toppings. I loved the large chunks of sausage instead if the typical sausage crumbles. My mom had the Reuben and found it quite delectable. Generously sized. The curly fries had no salt and that was perfect for my mom. If you prefer salt, you may need to add your own. The pie is homemade! I had the coconut cream and wow! It was a large slice of heaven with a mound of toasted coconut on top of the cream. It was so divine that we ordered the strawberry cheesecake pie to eat tomorrow. I didn't think to get photos of the food when it was served because I wasn't expecting anything other than normal good

Only 4 on atmosphere because bar and indoors is dated a bit, but North woods dated. The outdoor lake overlook seating is the best you'll find in the area. Family run, always consistent food, great service!

I loved this awesome little place. The food was terrific and reasonably priced. The service was great. I was there with a large party and the owner came out and checked on us twice. She is also the chef. I definitely look forward to going back and checking it out during the summer season because it looks like they might have a cool patio. One other plus. It is right across from a snowmobile trail if you are into that sort of thing.
