Bedford Park Public Library

This is one of my kids and my favorite libraries in the area. My kids love the children’s section, especially the craft activities and toy options. My oldest daughter says the book selection is just “okay” compared to some other libraries, but she’ll take the crafts and play space over that. We also enjoy the programs here. There is usually space available and they don’t fill up as quickly as other libraries. The children’s section is downstairs, separate from the adult section, makes it easier for kids to play and be themselves without disturbing others. The staff are always friendly and understanding, which makes a big difference.

Staff is always extremely kind.. my boys love Ms Mitchell, she has the biggest kindest heart. Greg is always a great convo. And Ms Deanna always plans the best kids events.. my boys always look forward to library days.

You can be this library is nice and has a nice parking lot. Staff is usually nice and helpful, but today a older lady that was putting books on the shelve was very rude, and did not give a very welcome approach, she rudly said can I help you right asoon as we walked in , I told no and she said what did we need I said just going to read and as we where going to get a sit she said where you going, I told her get a table she rudely said there no tables over there . This is a library any one is welcome, and you can go read, study , use the computers , and check out books, and sit where you like, you never ask someone rudely can I help you asoon as you come in, your not shopping, unless you need help and you ask, not asoon as you walking in and be rude like saying what are you doing

Wonderful kid's section! Away from the adult's, so I don't feel bad when mine are rowdy. Lovely staff, great programs and plenty of books, games, and movies.
