Bear Ridge Guest House Suites and Lake House

From the moment we walked in, the apartment exceeded expectations. The space is well laid out and equipped with everything you might need from the typical cookware all the way to a small stock of bathroom items you might have forgotten to pack. The view from the deck is amazing and though we were there in late November, we could imagine the beauty of the gardens in full bloom. We were sad to be leaving after our few days stay. Booking was easy and the hosts were very friendly. You won't regret your time at Bear Ridge Guest House!

Bear Ridge Guest House is a wonderful place to stay that is situated in a quiet spot in the north woods with views of the water. There are numerous lodging configurations sleeping different numbers of people and having various views. They all have full kitchens and are more like apartments than hotel room units. We had unit #2, an upstairs unit with one bedroom and a Murphy bed in the living room. The unit was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Our unit did not have a balcony overlooking the lake, but did have a lovely view of the lake from a large window in the living room. It also had a balcony on the other side overlooking the garden. My wife and I have been traveling to International Falls for the past three years to pick up the kids from camp. Lodging is difficult to come by so you take what you get. Bear Ridge Guest House has been the best place to stay - by far - for any of our trips. We have driven around town and visited some of the other lodges and cabins as well. Bear Ridge tops them all.||The owners are friendly and laid back. Making arrangements was very easily accomplished. They do not take credit cards though, so keep this in mind. Happily, they do accept personal checks so you do not have to carry a wad of cash with you.||Our room was extraordinarily clean and spacious. We had a delightful stay at the Bear Ridge Guest House during our recent visit to International Falls. We traveled to northern Minnesota to pick up our eldest son from summer camp, and we spent a few days enjoying the surrounding area. The guesthouse is conveniently located to Voyageurs National Park, a bike trail, and other recreational activities. Our rental was spacious and well appointed, with a fireplace, full kitchen, and laundry facilities. We enjoyed the lovely view of nearby Rainy Lake, as well as the comfortable bedroom and linens. We definitely plan to return during our next summer visit!

Incredible guest house right on beautiful Rainy Lake! Beautifuly decorated and furnished, it is definitely one of the nicest accommodations that we've experienced in the International Falls area! Highly recommended!
