Bear Cave

The Bear Cave is no frills. Doesn't need to be. It has a wonderful feeling to it. It feels like vacation at Bear lake. We ate there twice while on a family trip in the area. The milkshakes were great. The burgers were great. I like the milkshake at the Bear Cave more than I did down in Garden City. There is a great sitting area just to the east of the burger establishment with picnic tables and shade. Lots of grass. There was cornhole set up if you wanted to play. They do have two unisex bathrooms. They were clean. Bathrooms are very rustic, for lack of a better word. It does look like they clean them and they had soap and paper towels. If you are on the north end of the lake looking for a burger I would recommend this establishment

Ate here with my friends on a Saturday afternoon. The burgers were most excellent, there was a small line that moved reasonably fast. They no longer serve tater tots but the fries were good. The restaurant is take out only though they do have shaded outdoor seating. It’s a great place to visit while on the north shore of Bear Lake.

The bear cave was phenomenal! The burgers are all char-grilled and the fries were some of the best fries I've had in a long time! Perfect little burger shop for a meal after exploring the Minnetonka Caves!

Delicious! We got chicken tenders and the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. They gave us free water cups and free fry sauce. I loved the outdoor seating. Great stop!
