Beaman Memorial Public Library

This is a very quiet, clean and organized library. I love it! We are definitely going back there.

The only reason this review is getting 3 stars is because the children's area is really nice and my 2.5 yr old enjoyed our visit. Which is super disappointing because we won’t be returning. I live out of state and was trying to get a library card. Long story short, I was not able to get the card. Which was fine, I get that its a rule. I just didn’t appreciate being bullied by a librarian. She has no business being in the children's area, the short conversations I had with her before this interaction were also less than pleasant. She was so grumpy and made it pretty obvious I was annoying her. Super disappointing.

Can't tell you about the library because we start go in. The annual September book sale though was great! Big selection of paperbacks, hardcover books, DVDs, puzzles all for a dollar each or less!

Beautiful, well organized library with helpful.and friendly staff. Wonderful community engagement programs too.

idk why they insist on me being so quiet here. i was blasting music on a bass boosted speaker i carried on a wagon, and they had a problem?? this is a public space let me do what i want.
