Beak and Bloom (closed)

Betina takes care of breakfast in an amazing way! We stayed during a very rainy season, but the apartment is amazing, and watching the birds, bunnies and deer kept us content. Truly sweet, caring people, with comfy bedrooms! The only draw back I could see, would be if all rooms were full, it could get a bit crowded, as there's one common area and one bathroom. (Both gorgeous). We will definitely be back! Town is 15 minutes away, very easy for supplies and groceries!

Who would've thought such a wonderful alternative to a hotel was tucked away in Battleground Washington. Beautiful, peaceful setting along the Salmon Creek with gardens , pines , and private little nooks and crannies to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine . In addition, this could be the perfect place for family or friends to gather when they come to town if your own home isn't spacious enough. What puts this over the top are owners Mark and Bettina who've owned a cafe before and have been in the cooking industry for years. Along with Cocoa their mighty fierce watch dog you will leave this hideaway as friends. Enjoy!

Beak & Bloom is the perfect distance off the beaten path for us to enjoy a relaxing get-a-way. Our drive through towering firs culminated with a warm welcome from owners Mark and Bettina in a quiet and rustic setting. Our stay was a perfect delight and our room very comfortable. Breakfast quiche prepared by Chef Bettina is a perfect way to begin the day after a refreshing sleep. We particularly liked being able to fresh brew our early morning coffee with a French press. We definitely plan a return visit next summer.

A friendly welcome awaited us after a long journey. Relaxing house felt like our own. 1 night not long enough. Wish we'd had more! |Gorgeous land to explore and lovely people with excellent room and a delicious breakfast, with a beautiful little dog to enjoy also! |Cannot wait to come back. This place is a real gem!

I loved this place! The whole environment was so warm and welcoming. And the hosts were extremely accommodating. Best B&B I've been to. Besides the ambiance, the breakfast was incredible!
