BEACH BBQ

Wow…amazing BBQ cooked by friendly people. We ordered the pork ribs platter w/ potato salad and mac & cheese. The ribs were seasoned and smoked perfectly, super tender and flavorful. 4 large sized ribs. The potato salad tasted fresh and was a great compliment to the ribs. The mac & cheese…delicious as well. Perfect amount of cheese. We also got the fried catfish sandwich, perfectly fried and seasoned. Every bite was crispy and hit the spot! We will def recommend this spot. Excited to try their brisket and candied yams one day (come early because they make everything fresh, and they sell out). What a great local spot. Street parking available in front of store. Finger lickin’ good! Ladies & gentlemen: DROP EVERYTHING and go to Beach BBQ right now! It’s *THE* barbecue spot on the South Shore! Tried it for the first time today on my way back from Long Beach after I saw the amazing reviews… and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Succulent homemade pork ribs cooked low ‘n slow, just like it says on the wall right when you walk in. And the service? Friendly, prompt, warm, and professional. Talk about a truly local, family-owned restaurant! The owner, Shareema Beach (Beach is right in the name!) and her husband (the chef!) came out to greet me and introduce themselves. This gem was such an amazing find — now it’ll be my go-to BBQ joint in the future! Overall, a great experience, amazing food, friendly service. No complaints here. I’ll be back!

We ordered the fried turkey and macaroni and cheese as a catering order for the potluck at my job. Very delicious! The fried turkey was so good we ordered one for Thanksgiving. My family does not like turkey but the fried turkey from Beach BBQ was moist and flavorful. We have a new appreciation for turkey thanks to Beach BBQ!

Just went here today with a couple of friends. We were really excited because of the great reviews and pictures and somehow it ended up exceeding our expectations. Most places have one or two items that win you over, here it was EVERYTHING . We had brisket, ribs, potato salad, mac and cheese, pulled pork, candied yams, fried catfish. All stellar and the people behind the counter were awesome too. Must visit for any foodie on Long Island.

Passing through returning to Brooklyn from a road trip up North. My husband found this place. Everything was soo good. We just came out of church. Seriously brought me back to Sunday dinners at home and my church’s kitchen dinner plates. Very nostalgic but better. Everything had flavor, salted/ seasoned nicely, fresh ingredients,and hot temp. The ladies serving were very attentive. They had Martin playing w/ one of my fav. episodes. I was cracking up while waiting for the food to be packed. We ordered the Whiting Platter w/ Mac &cheese and collard greens Brisket w/ a side order of Mac & cheese Side order of Turkey wing Small banana pudding Only gave a 4 star I wanna come back to try more.Def will recommend .
