Solid local hoops spot! Herman Dolgon Basketball Court has well-maintained full courts with fresh paint, sturdy rims, and plenty of space for pickup games or shooting around. Surface drains well, lighting decent for evening play, and it's usually not too crowded except peak weekends. Great for casual ball or practice in Sheepshead Bay. Minor cracks here and there (typical NYC outdoor), but overall reliable 4.5 stars — nice community court!

It's a great park with small parking lot and a rocky sand beach. If you come a bit early in the morning you can settle in the shade of a tree for the whole day.

Large area with a lot of places for setting a picnic. Always clean despite of many people coming here everyday. Friendly place for kids and dogs with public restrooms

Oh .... October is never ending but the best part u get to hang out and make barbecue
