Beach at Fairmont Orchid

A fantastic snorkeling experience complete with sea turtles. Give them space, but each time I went in the water with a snorkel I saw one. Like somebody else said here, the bay outside of the closed-in area isn’t really for beginner snorkelers, because it’s a rocky coast and if visibility is low you can find yourself in front of the rocks quickly.

Great spot to take young kids. No waves just lagoon. Unfortunately if you are not a guest of the hotel you cannot use the lounge chairs despite how busy it is. But they will gladly let you order $20 drinks from the sand.

This spectacular clam shaped beach is one of my favorites because it is nicely protected from the waves and makes a calm place to swim laps. It is extremely beautiful with loads of soft, white sand. If you're not staying at the hotel, park for free at Holoholokai park and walk a short ways down the coastline to this gorgeous beach.

Fabulous snorkling and chill beach next to a nice resort with all the amenities. $$$$$. Free parking, free to use beach, not for beginner snorklers.
