After trying to get food from this place for a while and it constantly falling through, I was finally able to try it. Luckily, it was delicious. Ribs fell off the bone. Brisket melted in my mouth. Mac was super creamy. Candied yams were just like Thanksgiving dinner. Pulled pork was great but I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken. However, it wasn't bad. In addition, all the fruit based sauces tasted like they actually used said fruit in them. The corn cakes with the honey butter were great too. Pretty cheap when it comes to BBQ and the sample platter gets you a lot of food to try for only $25ish. I gotta come back and try some of those sandwiches.

Service was a great delivery driver. The pulled pork meal: pork was almost half blackened, crunchy areas. Sitting in puddle of grease! Never had any like that at any bbq place. Rice was all brownish-red and very few beans. Flavor of rice was strange- only way to describe. Couldn't eat more than 3 or 4 bites. Slaw ordered said "mayonnaise" slaw and it was. Tasted like plain mayo, not vinegar-sugar mixed in. Just mayo flavor. Worst bday meal I've ever had. I'll stick with Smokin J's BBQ, always excellent but they aren't open on Sunday. $28 wasted.

Stopped in the shop on their buy one sandwich get one 1/2 off day, and was blown away by the quality of service and food. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with peach chipotle bbq sauce, fries, and slaw. It was absolutely amazing. I was transported from the beautiful West Virginian mountains to flavor town. I saw colors I didn’t know existed as I ate some of the best BBQ I’ve ever experienced. This food was so good I had an out of body experience. 10/10 would recommend, food so good it’ll make you slap yo’ mama. They offer catering for your next event too! You can’t go wrong supporting this small business!

The owner told me that he likes my fun hat. I respect that. He’s really nice. Also, the food is so good it should probably be illegal. I recommend getting everything.

Awesome food! Stopped in on a quick business trip. Impressed with good portions. Definatly recommend. Great local gem.
