Heard about this spot on TikTok yesterday and my wife and I happen to be in the area today so we stopped by… So glad we did. We had a 10 out of 10 experience. The young lady on the register gave us great customer service. She was friendly and welcoming, and super helpful. The owner was in the building. He was greeting customers coming out to the front checking on us great hospitality. But the food… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 They were busy and we still got our food with within 15 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh, but even more than that it was all delicious. We live about 40 minutes away and we plan to be back regularly. I really wanted to like this place. I went based upon the reviews. Influencers must be paid to provide positive feedback. This place is absolutely horrible. We ordered the chicken wing combo with macaroni and cheese, collard green and yams. We also ordered a whitening and chicken combo with green beans and cabbage. Every piece of chicken was covered in feathers. How lazy must the cook be to leave the chicken fully covered in feathers. Not just one or two pieces but covered in the long bristles. Secondly the chicken was soggy not from condensation but because it was not cooked long enough. It was not crispy like shown in others reviews or their website. Lastly the lack of seasoning on the chicken left a lot to be desired. The cabbage had the strangest taste. I can't even g

I got the salmon bites, collard greens, and fries! Everything was well-seasoned, moist, and flavorful! Very fresh and delicious! 😋🤤 Everyone that came here with me enjoyed their food, too. I've always wanted to try fried salmon, and I'm glad my first experience trying it was great and enjoyable ☺️ Great portion sizes 💯

My husband and I wanted a Friday movie night dinner. I got the wing dinner with Mac and cheese and greens. The greens were so salty that it was like eating salt. I could not taste the greens. The Mac and cheese was pretty good. His catfish he says was overseas ones. Im all for supporting our businesses. Service was good however I wasn't impressed with those salty greens. He also said the pink lemonade was pure pure sugar he diluted it with a bottle of water

Look y’all BBU Kitchen in Bowie, Maryland in the same parking lot with Texas roadhouse look y’all the food is great. The server was beautiful. Took your time. Excellent service. I was all over the place took it nice and slow and chilled and just helped me when I got here my food was ready then I want to change up because she gave me a sample and she gave me she gave. She turned around and changed the order for me. They already had it ready and look my you can’t get service like this no more and the food be the bomb Support our Black people I’m saying we need to support people, but we need to support our black businesses and I’m telling you Food off the chain I got I gotta keep eating.
