Bayview Beach

A perfect beach to walk along - well worth the visit. Saco, Maine is one of the best little towns ever.

Bay View Beach is a quiet, scenic beach that feels more peaceful than many of the larger nearby spots. It’s a nice mix of sand and rocky shoreline, with great views of the water and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the coast. It’s a good place for a walk, photos, or just sitting and listening to the waves. Because it’s smaller and less crowded, it feels like a hidden gem compared to busier beaches in the area. Overall, a beautiful local beach and a great place to unwind if you’re in Saco. 🌊

We walked the southern part of Bayview Beach coming from Ferry Beach. We were in a bit of time crunch or else we would have walked the whole thing. Definitely will come back during the off season to check out the rest of the beach. It was beautiful and definitely a nice candy beach. As other reviews mentioned, it is dog friendly and we saw quite a few pups enjoying their day.

I wish I had more time to explore this beautiful beach 🏖️!! I had a frustrating day and I just sat and enjoyed my new 🆕 book 📖 while looking at the view and listening to the waves. This expansive beach with views of the islands, coast and a lighthouse helped me unwind. The beach was clean and encouraged people with disabilities to visit. There was a sign saying that a wheelchair ♿ would be provided if you are need of one. A family with a disabled member was visiting and having a good 👍 time! Dogs 🐕 are allowed but must be leashed and cleaned up afterwards. There were people letting their dogs play in the surf but no one was bothered by it. 🎵 And 🐶 Dogs, they want to have fu-un! 🎵 The posted hours are 8 AM-8 PM at the parking 🅿️ lot.
