Bayridge Sushi

If you're wanting a quick bite, this is not the place for that. Here, you will have a lavish dining experience (not to be rushed). Besides, for nearly the first couple of hours, we noticed no one helping our server handle the entire dining area. Considering the number of people who chose to have a late Sunday lunch here, that seemed an overwhelming task and caused some delay. However, when we had nearly finished our meals, I mentioned never getting my salad. Not only did he offer to pack it up to add to my leftovers--an acceptable way of handling the situation--he wanted me to take home some soup and even gave me a choice of which kind. I gratefully accepted their clear soup as an addition. In fact, the way he handled the original oversight and a couple of other minor situations impressed

My family and I went to Bay Ridge this weekend. It is a beautiful restaurant. The food is visually stunning, and the taste is exemplary. You can dress down, you can dress up, The wait staff is attentive, friendly, and on their game. The menu is wonderful and has options for everyone, not justsushi. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Bayridge Sushi! Excellent experience!!!

As a seasoned sushi lover, I was truly looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time. My husband and I had a mixed experience overall. When we arrived, there were two hostesses — one was on the phone taking an order while the other was moving around but hardly acknowledged or seat us for about five minutes, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The energy felt off-putting right from the start. Our server was pleasant and did their best — not bad service by any means, just not especially attentive or memorable. The sushi itself was beautifully presented and very generous in size, but for our taste, the rolls were a bit overwhelming with too much going on in each bite. I ordered the guava sidecar, which was unfortunately extremely syrupy and not something I could finish.

We are visiting down here & was looking for some good sushi when we doing this place! It’s so cute and the food taste absolutely amazing! If you love edamame then definitely get the garlic edamame. Best i’ve ever had! John was our server and he was very sweet and super attentive. We will definitely be coming back!

I would 1000% go back to Bayridge. I have already been back over 10 times and will continue to go for its consistency!! Food portion sizes are almost good for two for the price. The fish tasted fresh and food was served hot. Inside the dining area tall booths make great separation between the guests and of course service is always consistent. Such a staple in the longwood community!!
