Wonderful service, great atmosphere, meh food, terrible margaritas. The lady that took our order was beyond lovely and helpful, couldn't ask for anything more. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air from the covered pavilion. I ordered the "healthy" grilled shrimp ( comes with rice and vegetables) and my husband got the chicken and sausage gumbo. We also grabbed some hush puppies and red beans and rice to try out . People have different tastes of course.. but here is what I thought: GRILLED SHRIMP - overspiced and overcooked. RED BEANS AND RICE - ok, but mostly rice. GUMBO - ok, roux needs work. HUSH PUPPIES - Came out lukewarm and mushy in the middle. BANANA PUDDING - is this really banana pudding? Tasted like thick tapioca custard. Overall, the place is clean with a good vibe and
My first time to go. I had the Shrimp and Grits, it was delicious. Everyone else really enjoyed theirs also. Two had crawfish & one of those had shrimp & gumbo on the side. One had hamburger, one had chicken sandwich Fun atmosphere, good music. There were 5 of us and we had a great time.
I've had better... the fish was tasty but they must have been on a diet the proportion of fish were tiny. The veggies are bland The choices of sides are non existent. Potato salad comes with nothing and cannot be chose as the side with anything. Why serve it? It has to ordered alone. The fries were tasty but very greasy. The grilled chicken is served dry. Poor little anorexic fish
Soggy fries and poboys on soft white bread buns. Yucky! Left most of our food on the table. The counter area is so crowded that there is nowhere to stand in line to order due to tables being so close. For goodness sake, put some kind of an air ride on the restroom doors. The last thing I want to look at while eating is an open restroom.
Easy to find something you're going to like. Been here a few times and everything has always been fresh and had good flavor definitely a place to stop if you're looking for good seafood or burgers.
