Customer Reviews
Really good service at the bar and the restaurant was a nice balance of chilled energy. Had the cajun trio with the beans and rice a surprise, well seasoned and flavorful without being too salty. The étouffée was delicious and pretty good for not being in Louisiana. The gumbo was more chicken soup than a true gumbo… no okra and very watery. Boudin bread was tasty and the shrimp was as well. The baked cornbread that came with the meal was the star of the night, crunchy yet moist…could’ve been my dessert!
This is a good addition to Downtown dining here in Dickson. The food was decent, portion size on the red beans was a little more on the scarce side. The fries were great along with the ranch. The Po’Boy was pretty good though fairly messy. We also had the sausage platter with cheese and the sausage and cheese were great along with the homemade pickles, crackers and the dipping sauce for the apples. The jerky was fairly tough and chewy but good flavor. The desert was fire I am not going to try and spell them cause I know I will get it wrong lol. The service was impeccable from the servers to the chef even coming down to explain all the gluten free options for my wife. The restaurant itself was on the smaller side with a good portion of it being taken up by the bar. ****This is a great optio
I tried bites of red beans and rice, chicken and sausage gumbo, boudin bread, and for myself ordered the garlic parm wings. Absolutely outstanding. Properly seasoned, options right in front of you if you need more heat.
We started with an appetizer of lemon pepper wings that were lightly fried incredibly tasty. My son had the crawfish etouffee, while I tried the sausage and chicken gumbo. Beignets were a given. From the moment we walked in, until the last bite, this was as enjoyable and delectable meal I've had in quite some time.
The best crawfish etoufee hands down no contest. They ship their ingredients in from Louisiana and the family that runs Bayou Belle is from there too so it’s as authentic as can be. So happy we came in here today. As you can see I ate the whole dang thing. Tell ya mama tell ya friends get the best Cajun food in town here.
