BayLeaf Redefined Indian Cuisine

It was our first time at Bayleaf after a recommendation from a friend. The entire experience was great and the food was amazing! We ordered Black Pepper Chicken, Aloo Papdi Chat, Paneer Pakoda, Chana Saag, Malai Kofta, Kadai Paneer and assorted breads. Great ambience and a good place to go nearby. Our initial papadi chaat was soft and after we pointed out they gladly made a fresh plate! Chicken, Paneer Pakodas, Chana Saag and Makai Kofta were our favs.

This is by far my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is always great and consistent. The staff are so nice, polite and professional. They make you feel like you’re a part of their family. If you’re looking for a great Indian restaurant…look no more!!!

I’ve gotten take-out from the Bayleaf a few times, and it was always excellent! The food is never bland or not spicy enough. I finally went to dine in tonight with my friend. For being a Tuesday night the service was very good, and there was enough people that it didn’t feel completely empty. I want to try everything on their menu because I know it will all be good!

In the past, I have both dined-in at Bay Leaf with colleagues and also ordered take-out for my family. The food is outstanding. The staff is kind. My personal experiences have all been positive and everyone I have spoken with raves about the restaurant. Highly recommended!

A very cozy restaurant that has been a staple of South Orange for years. The staff are friendly and make it a point to treat all customers, whether dine-in or takeout, with respect and appreciation. It’s some of the best assortments of Indian cuisine that we have in this area!
