The other negative reviews published here are similar to my experience. I’ve come to this store for Dunkin coffee from time to time, but do not recommend this establishment for Baskin Robbins custom ice cream cakes. They do not make the cakes onsite at this location, so there seems to be a lot of delays and complications with this store receiving orders. It’s likely best to order custom cakes from other stores. This store is very lacking in customer service. If complications come up, it will likely become unnecessarily frustrating dealing with the staff here. They are slightly combative and required me to come back into the store to be refunded for an order that I made online and that they cancelled because it was not ready for pickup at the pickup time (on the day of a kids birthday).

Terrible customer service! Was just there with my little girls (4 yrs old). One of them couldn’t decide between two flavors and I asked if she could taste one. The person refused! I don’t know any ice cream shop that doesn’t allow someone to taste a sample of they’re trying to decide. Especially for a kid. I tried to reason with them but they wanted to stick to some new policy. Never going there again! There are better ice cream stores nearby than this dying chain, with bad owners. Hope others will follow and stop giving business to people who just want your money and don’t care about their customers.

If I could a NEGATIVE RATING I would. My Grandson wanted a birthday cake that had CAKE in it. My daughter called to order his cake. She was told she needed to order the cake. This is NOT easy for some one who works full time and has limited spare time. When I got to the CLOSTER NJ location, I gave the older man my daughters name and waited for the birthday cake to appear. After much confusion, I was told they did not have the cake. At that point, I suggested they check the display case and rear freezer for the cake, which neither suggestion were worked on. Frustrated, I drove to the EMERSON NJ DAIRY QUEEN and had them put "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW" on a cake from their display case. After all this, we were called by the BASKIN-ROBINS, sayiny they FOUND the Birthday Cake. If you want

There’s a reason why no one goes to Baskins anymore and it’s like it never changed but in a bad way. Go to Daniela’s ice cream one block before BR.
