Every time I go to Basilico, I feel welcomed and at ease. Mario and his staff, do a great job and the food is consistent. I had tried plenty of choices from the menu or the daily specials and the true italian flare is always there. If you really want the ultimate treat, have Mario make you the pasta table side "alla flambe'". A statement of authenticity, humbly serving italian cuisine for over 20 years. Can't ask for more than that.

I recently went to Basilico and the experience was incredible. The staff was so lovely and took great care of us. The seafood was very fresh and I had some of the best oysters I have had. The frutti de Mari was exceptional and the lamb was cooked perfectly. The biggest surprise was the charcuterie board and it was impressively presented. The desserts were wonderful and had a good portion. Overall great experience!

This spot never disappoints! Must try in the menu is the ravioli and the any specials they put out. This last time they had a pork chop that was slap your mama amazing! Highly recommend pairing with a bottle of wine. Lastly, if you skip dessert you are missing out on creations by the most talented pastry chef in NJ.
