Basilic Vietnamese Grill Fort Lauderdale

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Pho on Doordash and it was so good I had to review it on Google. Ordering it online everything comes separate so you have to build the dish and baby it was worth it. The grilled chicken is seasoned and the broth is spicy but not crazy if you like spicy foods. The spice does linger but it's flavor not heat. The rice noodles are not sticky or overcooked like some places tend to do when you order online. Adding in the fresh cilantro, onions, beansprouts, jalapeños, lime and basil to the broth just made the whole dish sing with layered flavors. It's also a big portion, I have enough left over for 2 meals and I didn't use all of the broth. I'm looking forward to going to the restaurant to see what else I will like off the menu. We have been coming to this location for years and absolutely love it! The value is amazing and the flavors always hit the spot. Perfect cozy dinner or even a casual date night spot.

First time at the restaurant and this was the best bowl of oxtail PHO I've had all year. Perfect for a rainy Sunday night. The young man who helped me was also very pleasant. Cute cozy atmosphere to have a drink and watch the game as well.

2/15/25—Against my will, we took our friend and his new wife out for dinner. I was having a great nap and really didn’t feel like eating, but I figured, if I had to go, at least we could pick a place where the food wasn’t too heavy. So, we chose this restaurant.
