Customer Reviews
Best pizza in the cedar valley. Love to try the interesting specials they feature. Limited but good selection of local beer and quality wine. Service is always friendly.
Interesting environment, very quaint and simple, not fancy. The food is delicious! You can scan a QR code and order from that so there’s not much interaction. The server quickly cleared dishes as we finished and was available for questions. My daughter and I had the bruschetta and margherita pizza with sausage added. The bruschetta was good, thin toasted bread, very minimal cheese and basil but the tomatoes popped and it had good flavor. It had a light dusting of finely grated Parmesan. A drizzle of balsamic glaze would have finished it nicely but still good. The pizza was great. It’s served with a pizza cutter so you cut it yourself. The sausage was fabulous! Very minimal cheese and basil. The sauce and crust were very good.
Absolutely phenomenal! I am officially obsessed with Basal Pizza! Loved the Detroit style pizza - the fresh basil, sauce and crust were all superb. The dessert pizza with perfectly ripe strawberries was just what I needed. I can’t wait to go back and eat the rest of menu! Great vibes and great food.
Fantastic little pizza place. Very nice laid back atmosphere. We tried one of each crust. The Neapolitan was large and great for our kid, we shared a Detroit supreme that was fantastic, and the gluten-free eater in our family was very pleased with her mushroom pie. Simple menu, and easy ordering. Gluten-free is not listed on the menu but if you call or ask in person they can make it.
As locals to the area I do not know why it took us so long to visit! We had heard excellent things and wanted to bring a foreign change student from Italy because she was missing home. We ordered three Neapolitan pizzas: Margerhita, Bianco, and Yukon, as well as the Detroit pepperoni. Our Italian friend said the Neapolitan was “just like home.” It made her smile from ear to ear and send pictures home to her family. She showed us how to eat it - folded in half - no utensils! The Detroit was excellent too. The service model was unique - order from the app and pay online, then everything is delivered to your table. Super simple but takes away a lot of “hunting” for your server to order or pay. The food was served hot and quickly to our table. Super kind folks and simple easy-going vibe. The
