Barrio Tacos + Tequila + Whiskey

Visiting from OOT with my daughter and we decided to stop here! One the service from Isla was amazing! The food and ambiance was even amazing. I definitely recommend being adventurous and trying the tres amigos! They are so tasty 😍

Getting to build your own taco is so much fun! I thought the first one I built was good. But I build another, and it was just as good as the first!!! Hands down, best taco I ever ate. If you don't like it, you built it wrong! And the salsa, is so good with the perfect amount of spicy! Thank you!!!

It feels like a perfect fit for the downtown setting, making it a great place for a casual weeknight dinner or a spirited start to a weekend night out. Service is generally quick and friendly, with staff willing to explain the menu's many options.

It’s such a fun atmosphere. I tried their new, upcoming winter hot chocolate mocktail. Absolutely amazing. And their new brunch menu is so delicious. I got the shrimp and grits. Such authentic flavor. 10/10 would totally recommend!

I’d give Barrio Tacos + Tequila about three stars. From the outside the place looks really nice and inviting. Inside it feels more like a casual taco spot than a full restaurant, which is totally fine, just not what we expected. The menu is simple - you can build your own tacos or pick from their preset options. What bothered me was that even the preset tacos couldn’t be customized at all. A lot of the most interesting ones were spicy, and I don’t eat spicy food. I asked if they could just leave out the spicy sauce or seasoning, and they said no. So I ended up eating tacos I didn’t really want. The tacos themselves were okay. I was hoping for more of an authentic flavor or something unique, but it felt pretty average.
