Barrio BX is a gem in the Bronx 🇵🇷🔥 I went with my brothers for the first time on a Saturday for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The food is authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love, every bite hits. The rabo was insanely delicious, tender, rich, and cooked to perfection. From the atmosphere to the service, everything felt welcoming and full of Puerto Rican pride. It was my first time there, but definitely not my last. If you’re looking for real Puerto Rican cuisine done right, this is the spot. 💥This review is solely my opinion and reflects how my taste buds experienced this restaurant 😊

From the old location on Tremont Ave. to the 🆕️ location at the old Havana in Castle Hill, Barrio 🅱️✖️🇵🇷 is still the place to go for great Puerto Rican food, drinks, music, entertainment, staff, service, etc. It gives you that good restaurant lounge with great music vibes that celebrates Puerto Rican🇵🇷 culture & tradition, etc. It's still 1️⃣ of the best spots in the Bronx, NYC & I highly recommend & will continue to come here. The staff was really sweet and the atmosphere is really pretty. I will say that I was sad, when the permit sandwich arrived the bread was a bit soggy. My family loved both the chicken and churros mofongos. I would definitely come back.

This was my first time here and I loved the ambiance and the vibes of the place. The DJ played music from my youth and contemporary music. The service was good and my waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic. Normally when the food is good others serve small portions but that was not the case here. The food was tasty and good. Loved tit and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Barrio BX

SIMPLY AMAZING! Everything was delicious and the service was on point. We’re from Kong Island, but will definitely visit again! Those pernil alcapurrias and bacalaitos were A+! Also tried the vegan sausage that were great.
