Unbeatable hospitality and location in Punxy! Shannon was amazing and made the best breakfast for each of our 2 nights. The house was built in 1903 and has that old school charm... Literally like living in a Hallmark movie! The attention to detail with the Christmas decor was emaculate, and we spent a while just looking around at everything. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, and there are another 3 on the 2nd floor. Each is amazing with it's unique charm. Looking forward to visiting again someday!
I think any fan of Groundhog Day would agree that if you go to Punxsutawney you’ve got to stay at a B&B! Shannon does a terrific job maintaining and furnishing this B&B, which is a clean and beautiful house in the heart of the town, and she was very accomodating of my uncertain schedule. The “Scrambler” is the breakfast of champions. ||Punxsutawney Phil, who is on 24hr display outside the public library, is just a few minutes walk away and Gobbler’s Knob is about a 5 minute drive.||If you’re passing through western Pennsylvania this is a wonderful place to stop for the night.
Spent two night's. Obtained the biggest suite, about $160 including taxes. Reserved parking spot. Great morning breakfast both days. Much better than a local hotel. Punxy Phil is right across the street. Nice pub/tavern and pizza joint 2 blocks away.
Many people often wait years for an opportunity to stay in Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day and unfortunately vacancy is scarce. I had the good fortune to stay at Barclay and the location made a big difference for my Groundhog Day Weekend celebrations. Fresh pancakes! Eggs! Just so delicious and fresh!|The bedroom is well furnished with antique furniture. Had Groundhog Day been actually filmed in Punxsutawney, this Bed and Breakfast has a perfect ambiance and inviting set.|Without hesitation, I have reserved f
Beautiful room with private bath. Covered parking for our motorcycles was so appreciated as it did rain. Seamless self-check in. Owner readily available by phone and text. The whole house was EXTREMELY CLEAN. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed on a day that breakfast was not offered but coffee/tea and a basket of granola bars/mini muffins were available for us. We will not hesitate to stay again if we're riding through Punxsutawney.
