If you have a son or daughter that’s interested in modeling or acting, I highly recommend Barbizon. My daughter’s confidence, self esteem and over all self worth has greatly improved with the help of Barbizon’s in person instruction and on-line classes. We had the privilege of attending the Barbizon Baltimore showcase and a larger Passport to Discovery competition in Disney with over one hundred agents and managers. The experience was informative, exciting and even fun! It was a great way to network and make connections. We just got back less than a week ago and are still emailing and following up on callbacks. I was a student here and wanted to share some insights with anyone considering. I now work in the entertainment industry as a crew member and attended Barbizon's school before that so I can look back with a bit more knowledge of how the industry works. You generally should NOT have to pay for an agency to rep you, but this one you do- they get away with it by having you pay for their classes. The program took place over a few weekends and we had to provide or pay for our own lunch each day. I was more interested in acting than modeling and I was assured by Mr. Roth that the class time would be about equally split between the two. This was not true at all. If you’re considering Barbizon, I highly recommend it! Ever since I’ve wanted to model, I had no idea how to start. So I joined Barbizon and it was the best decision I made! Every class was fun and there was always something exciting planned! All of the instructors were supportive, kind, and always willing to help! They took time to give us tips and answer any questions we had. I would not have the knowledge I have now if not for Barbizon. They taught me so much about the industry and how to succeed. Without Barbizon, I know I would not be where I’m at. If you are interested in acting or modeling of anything Barbizon has to offer, I highly recommend Barbizon as an agency!

I was thankfully able to be a part of the Barbizon modeling and acting class for 3 months. When I first joined the class I was very insecure and had no self confidence. I came into the class with the expectations that they had promised, I received just that and even more! The experience the whole Barbizon class provided was amazing. I definitely recommend Barbizon and am now looking forward to the next chapter in the modeling industry!

I heard about Barbizon from a friend of mine who had went through the program a few years ago and decided to audition last fall! I was really nervous going in, and I couldn't believe it when they said I got in, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made. I went through the Edge Online Master classes, and I loved it! Every class was very informative, and each class brought me closer to believing in myself. Being there has always cheered me up and raised my spirits. The instructors and staff were always so kind, and they made me feel like I was where I belonged :) I wouldn't have it any other way, and I'm so excited to see where it takes me!
