Barber-Tucker House

The B&B is first rate and Melanie is an outstanding hostess. She was flexible with our arrival time and then gave us a full tour of the house. Since we were her only guests for the night we were able to see all the rooms and stayed in the Barber Suite. It was amazing! The bed in that suite was so comfortable and the room and bathroom were large and accommodating. Breakfast on Saturday morning was amazing with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon and chocolate brioche French toast that was absolutely delicious! We will definitely stay here again when in the South Georgia area!

We were looking for a quite, out of the way stopover and found the most adorable B&B with the best innkeeper! Melanie was super helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do during our stopover. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. We were not able to stay for the amazing breakfast so Melanie packed a to go bag for us ready at 7 am complete with hot coffee and tea. Truly a wonderful stay that we would definitely do again.

Normally when I we visit our daughter in Moultrie we stay at Holiday Inn. We decided to stay at Barber Tucker House. We had to leave early Saturday morning so missed breakfast . Our wonderful host provided a great breakfast for our daughter and her family as well as my wife and I. The house is very nicely decorated with beautiful furnishings. Our room was everything we expected from such a nice place. Melanie was very kind, gracious and the most excellent host. I highly recommend a stay, True a charming abode warmed by great southern hospitality that accommodate our needs.

We found the Barber-Tucker House run by Melanie and Michael to be very charming and hospitable. We stayed in the Tucker room and the bed was so comfortable! Melanie made an awesome breakfast and both were very engaging and friendly. Next time we come we will plan to spend more time on the porch and take in the beautiful scenery. If you are a dog lover like me be sure to meet all those basset hounds!

Such a lovely stop on a road-trip! My mother grew up in Moultrie, so it was right down the road from her old friend's house. Being my first Bed & Breakfast...the Barber-Tucker House was such a phenomenal experience, and we were greeted with wonderful southern hospitality. The house had charm and the owner plans to restore it back to its original state! Such a wonderful stay and to top it off, my mother and I had a fantastic breakfast with homemade French toast and whipped cream. We plan to stay here on future road trips :)
