If you’re anywhere near Milwaukee and love Vietnamese food, you have to check out Bao Bao Cuisine. The pho is incredible — rich, flavorful broth that you can tell has been simmered for hours, and the portions are generous. Their bánh mì sandwiches are just as good: perfectly toasted bread, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor in every bite. I also tried the fried rice and it was some of the best I’ve had — savory, well-seasoned, and made with pride. What really makes this place special though is the hospitality. The owner, Tee, is so welcoming and clearly cares about the food and the experience people have when they come in. You can feel the pride and authenticity in everything they serve. Customer service was excellent, my server was really nice. Pho had good flavor but meat wasn’t so good. It tasted old and was hard not off the bone like it some other places. Had the tea and it was tasty as well.

What I love about this place is that whether I order vegetarian pho or chicken pho, I can request a substitute for rice noodles and choose egg noodles instead, which are tastier and my preference. Their tic tac tofu is also the best, and the restroom is clean.

We’ve been coming here since they opened and always order the spring rolls and two phos. I get the beef rib pho and the amount of meat you get with this one is INSANE! It’s always so flavorful. The staff is quick, efficient and friendly. It’s like they know what you’re going to order before you do!

I had 2 Apps Tempura shrimp and fried ground pork egg rolls, both were freezer to fryer shrimp was perfectly the same structure and mushy on the inside of the crust, indicating being frozen and heated and the pork was mushy and unseasoned..The Pho broth was unflavored, the Bahn Mi sandwich described as grilled pork, nada grilled, however, seasoned with some sort of glaze...On to the Next awaiting FLAVOR and ATTENTION TO DETAILS!
