Customer Reviews
Just checked out Bao Master in LA, and I’m impressed! First, the Giant Crab Soup Dumplings—thin skin, generous filling, and the soup inside is so flavorful. Every bite is packed with crab goodness 🥰. Their other Jiangsu & Zhejiang-style dim sum, like xiaolongbao and crab roe buns, are also authentic, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The restaurant is clean, staff are friendly, and the food comes out quickly—super comfortable dining experience. Prices are very reasonable, around $10–$15 per dish, so the value is excellent! Overall, Bao Master is a must-visit in Alhambra for lunch or afternoon dim sum, especially if you love soup dumplings and Jiangsu/Zhejiang snacks. Highly recommend!
Had a really great meal here! Everything we ordered was delicious and freshly made. The soup dumpling was juicy and flavorful, and the pan-fried buns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. The shrimp dumplings were also very fresh and tasty.
Came for dinner during the soft opening and they exceeded all expectations! Staff was very friendly. Process to order and pay was very smooth. Place has a nice vibe and ambiance. We ordered the chicken corn dumplings, shrimp cucumber dumplings, beef pot stickers, chicken pot stickers, dandan noodles, and a cumin lamb burger. Everything was so delicious and fresh with amazing flavor. Nothing was a miss. We were even given complimentary appetizers and soup. So happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back often!
This becomes my favorite soup dumplings and crab noodle restaurant after I tried it. The service was great and even they are busy. Open kitchen and you can see the cook making the dumplings and the restaurant is pretty clean. Love crab meat soup dumpling , the wagyu buns, and the crab meat noodle! Totally recommend these dishes and the restaurant. Make sure to get in early or make reservations.
This is my second time here. I loved everything I ordered the first time, especially the shrimp and cucumber soup dumplings, the steamed vegetable and mushroom dumplings, and the Kurobuta pork and green onion buns. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures the first time. The hot and sour soup was not bad, but the sesame bao wasn’t my type. I wouldn’t recommend it.
