BANK 253 Restaurant and Nightlife

I’m giving this spot a Pikeville 5 as options are few and far between and this place gives it a solid try. Our server, a Pikeville 10, was attentive and gave us her recommendations when asked. We stuck to basics for the best part and went a couple of times as we were in town for eight nights. We mostly drank red wine as they have a great bottle on the menu at a great price… though our waitress let us know she thinks all wine tastes like olive juice and didn’t understand our choice. Food was as expected and after 12 hours of work it hit the spot. Fussy folk will find stuff to fuss about here, but again out of the options available, this place is a 5.

This is a good place if you are in Pikeville, it is very close to the public parking garage, the university and the arena. I ate the fish sandwich with roasted asparagus, and I had a glass of Merlot. I was staying in Pikeville for a conference. They also have karaoke at some point. It is a lovely walk. It has a tempered patio in case you want a more quiet experience.

Ordered a well done burger to go. Got home and this is what it looked like after 2 bites. Almost raw. I have pictures and am considering what to do next. The incompetence in this area is utterly mind blowing. You are going to get people sick. Loved the Brussels sprouts without being cooked in bacon. Veggie burger was a rad spicy but most are. Would have given 5* but menu more expensive than I would have guessed.
