Banh Mi Viet Diamond

This is hands down the best bánh mì I’ve had in San Francisco. The meat-to-bread ratio is incredible — the sandwich is generously packed with beef and super satisfying. The flavors are beautifully balanced: a little sweet, a little spicy, with a bright tangy kick. As you keep eating, you can even notice the fresh aroma of lemongrass. Absolutely delicious. I’m very particular about bánh mì baguettes — they shouldn’t be too thick. I like them light, airy, and shatteringly crisp on the outside. The bread here is exactly how it should be, and it even looks beautiful. Everything just works. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Delicious Bun (vermicelli) with beef add-on. Generously portioned, fresh veggies and herbs, well-marinated protein and satisfying nuoc cham dressing. House-made spicy sauce makes for an even more well-rounded flavor, especially for those eager for heat.

First time purchasing food from here and it was very enjoyable. I've never had a "Fishcake Banh Mi" and wow this was good. I'll order this again. Good prices for the area and the portion size is generous. Very friendly staff at the register.

Little sandwich shop by Glen Park station. No tables inside but there is a bench to sit on while you wait for your order. Pork banh mi was delicious. My top 5 in SF. Sandwich was longer than expected and bread was crunchy on the outside. Meat was seasoned well with just a little kick of spiciness. Carrots was marinated well too. I also got the tofu roll and it was okay. Everything tasted fresh. Will be back to try other selections.

Perfect place to grab a great pork sandwich on the way to the BART station. Sandwich was neatly constructed and full of tasty sweet pork. Busy during lunch time. Decent price. Also tried the beef and special combination sandwiches. Both were excellent.
