My mom and I are on a mission to find the best Thai food in northern Fairfield County, so when we passed Bangkok Thai, we had to stop in. The restaurant has a cute, intimate vibe and really gorgeous decor. We went on a Sunday around 7 so it wasn’t too crowded. I ordered the Thai tea martini and my mom had a beer. The martini was GREAT, very strong, perfectly sweet, and super refreshing. We started with the spicy chili wontons and chicken satay. Both were a good size. The satay was pretty basic and the peanut sauce was underwhelming. It’s a pet peeve of mine when they barely give you any cucumber salad with your satay which is what they did here. I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical when I saw the 4.8-star rating—those can sometimes be too good to be true. But after dining here, I can confidently say it’s totally deserved. The Thai food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, with every dish cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. What really stood out was the attention to detail: the decor was warm and inviting, and even the restroom was beautifully maintained, complete with hand lotion! It’s clear they care about the full experience, not just the food. If you’re on the fence, go. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic Thai flavors and amazing service .!!! ✨❤️✨ The Pad See Eaw was rich and delicious, the chili chicken paired perfectly with their homemade sauce, and the spicy chicken fried rice was incredibly satisfying.❤️✨ And the star of the night was the coco lava cake—pure heaven in every bite😋😋🍜🍝🍛🥧

What a lovely experience! The owner was very attentive throughout the night and offered us many options on how to make things vegetarian or vegan or find substitutes for particular items on the menu! The restaurant was decked out in holiday decor, which was beautiful. And the food was great as well. I’d definitely return.

I come here quite often and the food is always delicious no matter what we order. Great food, drinks, ambiance, and service. Highly recommend to everyone!
