Bangkok On Franklin

Enjoyed a quiet dinner at this cozy spot. The restaurant is small with ambiance and music that set a relaxing tone. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It was hard to decide with so many delicious options! We selected the Rama Garden and Spicy Basil Lo Mein. With 4 spice levels, I chose 2/medium for the lo main. I learned I'm a 1/mild! 2 was pretty spicy for my taste, but I adjusted and was able to enjoy it. Both dishes were made with vibrant fresh vegetables and beautifully presented. The shrimp were prepared perfectly. A slice of mango mousse cake was a delicious sweet note to end on. Looking forward to a return visit and further exploring the menu.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food. At our table we had some food that was just incredible (highlight was the cinnamon dish), and only a couple items that were more "one note" (such as sweet and sour lomein). There was only one server for more guests than he ought to have been serving -- but he still did a good job being attentive to guests. Overall: would definitely go back if in the area!

Wow. I never had the winter soup with cinnamon before, love it! As others have noted, very generous portions, i was only able to eat about 1/2. Very good Thai iced coffee as well. Excellent and fast service.

As a first time diner, I can promise you that Bangkok on Franklin offers absolutely delicious Thai food and thoughtful service!!! My wife and I will return without hesitation. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I’m excited to return to explore the rest of the menu. We both chose a curry based main and both were uniquely exceptional. Don’t forget to try the mango mousse cake!!!

Superb in every way. The atmosphere is very chill, decor is modern and vibrant. Drinks are delicious. The Thai sweet tea is a must try. Siam dumplings were succulent. Panang curry was to die for. I could eat it every day. Krapow was also very delicious. You can't go wrong with either. The guy running the show was working hard, making sure everyone was taken care of. The food came out fast and hot. Everything was so fresh. I highly recommend this place.
