First time here, went on a Wednesday around 5pm. I was the only one in the restaurant but there was a lot of take out orders. The staff was friendly and attentive. Level 4 spice for the curry noodle soup was perfect for me and a nice balance of sweet and savory. The tofu was perfect. I got the appetizer assortment, which was good. It’s what you would expect of crab Rangoon and spring rolls. I will be back to try more items!
I’ve come here a few times now and it’s consistently great. The food is a bit on the sweeter side but they offer spice levels too. The appetizers are easy to share and the entrees are always tasty. I like the curry, pad Thai, fried rice, and their Thai tea is soo yummy! They even have a healthcare discount if it applies to you. I dine in or take out often and the service is always friendly and reliable. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
Food was good, more a take out style. FYI- They do have closing time as 11:45pm, although the dine in option was open only until 11pm.
I have no idea who they paid or discounted to leave these high reviews. The restaurant is run down with a dirty restroom. Tables and chairs unsteady. They get ice for your drinks out of a dirty fishing cooler (where is the Health Department?). The waitress never washes or sanitizes her hands between touching payments and ‘clean’ silverware. And to top it all off, the food was bad. “Bangkok” sauce was just super salty soy sauce, broccoli was supposed to be stir fried but came out of a steam fresh microwaveable bag with no seasoning or sauce, and fried rice was dripping with grease. I couldn’t even finish the food after two bites. Sooooo disappointing!!
This is my first time at Bangkok Cafe restaurant. I have ordered Moo ping with sticky rice, Papaya salad (Thai style), and duck fried rice; all the dishes were delicious and reasonable price.👍 The decoration looks good, and I love the lamp covering it; it's so cool. The staff is really nice. I will definitely come back again. 😋
