Bandeño Mexican Food

We’ve been going since they opened! The owner was once our car wash guy and he always talked about his dream to open a restaurant. He finally made his dream come true and Bandeño is hands-down the most authentic and consistently delicious Mexican food in Anaheim Hills. We’ve My wife and I are huge Formula One fans, and Bandeño has become part of our race-weekend tradition. Every race weekend, we order Bandeño. Sometimes twice or we order the night before the races that start really before they open at 9:00am, yes, it’s that good! We were so tired from flying/long travel day, that we just needed to find something close to our hotel. It was great! Fast but surprisingly good food. Loved the little self serve salsa bar.

I saw this new Mexican joint on yelp and I decided to try their hardshell tacos and let me tell you they were absolutely delicious! The shredded beef taco I got was so amazing, the meat was fresh and although the tacos look a little small, don’t let that fool you because it’s a solidly packed taco. I also got a hard shelled deep-fried chicken taco and that was amazing as well! I was taking pictures and the employees there were very welcoming and actually told me to take pictures of them so I did! They were absolutely so nice and very very sociable. This deep-fried taco was so crispy it was served hot and fresh, the tacos were about three dollars each and so worth it! Give this place a try you won’t regret it! Food is alright but portions are tiny for the price. Staff is very rude. They also have a hidden credit card fee. I would avoid this place - there’s just as good Mexican food at a better price without the shitty attitude in the area.
