Bamboo House

This was my first visit at Bamboo House. When I walked in, I was skeptical, because it was just past noon and the place was empty. The seats/tables had a diner vibe. Each table has a simple menu in a frame. The owner/server seemed to be the only person working. Everything was clean. There were two adults and a child in our party. I ordered beef and broccoli, my son ordered General Chicken, and my granddaughter ordered a child's cashew chicken, which was Springfield style. The food was served in a timely manner, and the portions were decent. Soft drinks came in cans. The food was DELICIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised. The broccoli in my dish was a bit undercooked, but the flavors of the sauce and other vegetables were so good. My son and granddaughter likewise enjoyed their respective meals

We had the cashew chicken and hot and sour chicken. Food was prepared fresh for us and very delicious. Crab Rangoon was the best I’ve had in this area. It looks like a one man show so call ahead for large orders. Very reasonable prices.

I came from out of state and had a hard time finding good Chinese food that was similar. I have tried various places in different cities in the area and this place is the best. I only get the General Tso's with lo mein so cannot speak for other dishes. Owner is always very friendly.

Some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. Very good food. Id recommend it to everyone who love authentic Chinese food.

Very small restaurant. Looked like only 1 person working. Some of the food was cold and some in our party didn't get what they ordered. I will not put this on my "good to go" list. Disappointed ☹️
