My wife and I came here for my birthday and had a great time. The setting is very nice, I think having the kitchen inside the restaurant was a fun idea, if not slightly noisy. Our waitress was excellent and the other staff made sure to fill up our water as soon as it was half empty. As far as food we ordered the Blue Cheese Chips as an appetizer to share and it came with more than we expected. Very good but make sure to eat them fast otherwise they get a little soggy. For main courses I got the Bison Manhattan and subbed the puréed potatoes for broccolini. The Bison and the accompanying sauce was amazing. It was a great cut of meat, it was more on the tougher side so don’t expect filet tenderness but the taste was unique but mild enough to not know it wasn’t standard cow. My wife got th

Monaco in Salt Lake City is such a great spot for dinner. The atmosphere is modern but still cozy, with just the right amount of energy without being too loud. I tried the seared scallops and they were cooked so tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The steak frites were also delicious, with a really rich sauce that tied everything together. The service was attentive and the staff made sure everything came out at the right pace. Drinks were spot on, and the cocktail list had some creative options that paired well with the food. Even on a busy weekend night, the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. Between the location, the food quality, and the overall vibe, Monaco really stands out as one of the best places to eat downtown. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Brunch is good portion sizes. Birria cheese sandwich is tasty and deceptively filling. Burger with egg tasted great and had sweet pickles, but was so slippery inside that I resorted to using fork and knife. Also had dinner. Portions are small but flavorful. Toffee cake was excellent.

Update, went back. Food was near perfect. Very impressed. Tuesday nite, surprisingly it was packed, good news. I skipped the resturant went to the bar, Nick was my barman. Good dude. Old fashioned, nothing special =rock solid. Attentive, I'll be back. Food. (I was in the bar) I had the steak. Chefs reccomendaton on the cook. Presentation was fine, plate was cold, steak was room temp. I was in the bar. Cooked perfectly, but sodium was only on one side, and it was lacking for the amount of beef flavor in the steak. The sauce was an absolutely great addition, but still need more salt on the meat. Veg on the side, great flavor, balanced, undercooked. Just really undercooked. The fried greens not needed. 80s called. Here's the letdown, big Ole line of silver on the meat. I hav

Extremely disappointed... I didn't go there to order appetizers as meals LOL. If I see a cut of meat listed I would think of getting the whole thing, not a couple small pieces. I know it's fine dining but doesn't mean you have to make everything really small which is ridiculous. I left hungry and unsatisfied. Your bison tasted like it had been cooked ahead of time, like a prime rib and then cut the order and I get two little pieces for $52... The scallops were really frustrating. They're super tiny and you get four little ones again for around 50 bucks.. they weren't that flavorful. It sounded great in the description but it just didn't seem to execute very well. We got your blue cheese chips appetizer and those very little of the blue cheese topping and it was all clumped in one little sp
