Baltimore County Public Library - Hereford Branch

Staff are helpful and friendly. Copying, scanning and printing equipment on 2nd floor are inexpensive and easy to use. Getting books from other branches of BCPL is quick and easy. Convenient parking.

I am very pleased with this library services. I was greeted upon walking in, showed around the library and was prompted when my study room was available! I just love it when I can go into a place and be treated with respect and Genuineness !!! Thank you Hereford Branch .. I will be back and thanks for allowing me to study for my huge test :)

I love how this is the only library I’ve been at where there is literally not a single room that’s quiet. I tried to find a place to study for my CPA exam and there are people playing games loudly. And then downstairs it’s full of toddlers running around. The "quiet room" is covered in magazines, only has lounge chairs, no tables/desks, and has the doors wedged open (not a quiet environment for focusing). I go into an empty room and get kicked out because I didn’t reserve it or it’s going to be used later. Is this library quiet for one solid minute? That would be a miracle. Don’t come here to study. But sure seems to be a great daycare if you are looking for that!

It's our favorite place in the 'Zone! You are warmly greeted the moment you step through the doors. The library is well- appointed with paper and digital media, and if there's something you can't find, the library staff will find it for you, order it in from the Balto Co system, or even order it from the larger network of national libraries. It's pretty incredible to have something like this in our little area.

This is such a great library. It was great before the remodeling.....but is so much better now. They have greatly improved the parking availablity. The staff is always very helpful and welcoming. They have wonderful activites planned there on a regular basis, which vary greatly and appeal to a broad range of people. The children's section is amazing! They have a rotating selection of educational and engaging toys/activities, in addition to an wide selection of reading material - for kids of all ages and abilities. My kids love going here - it is like going to the park, or playgroud for them......they are always asking to go.
