Baltimore County Public Library - Catonsville Branch

The Catonsville Library is located in the central part of Catonsville and is not only convenient, it has recently undergone a massive rehab. The building was closed for 18 months and updated throughout. The library now is bright and fresh and offers spaces for all members of the community. There are a ton of computers to use and work spaces where you can bring in your own PC, there is a special room dedicated to teens and there is the entire wing for the smaller children with story time spaces and bright colors and educational activities. Clean and new and spacious. The windows are great and the ventilation good. The only thing is I wish they don’t ban the chrome login, doing so makes the computer using experience a lot worse and is unnecessary.

Clean, open, bright, great selection of books and a wonderful section for children! The staff is also lovely and helpful. They also have reading time for children in the mornings!

I am extremely fond of this library. The book selection is good and the librarians are exactly what you expect librarians to be: kind, helpful, and well-versed in book locating. They have wonderful programming and resources.

A homey place to visit and get away from your home. I usually don't make it pass the kids sections but I am always amazed by the tons and tons of books. The staff is always pleasant. I actually think the library must be the happiest place to work I don't recall in my ×× years living ever meeting a disgruntled librarian or staff member. However don't get the title confuse, it is free to borrow books but they will charge you if you fail to pick up a book on hold and damaged books are $10. The staff will remind you face mask must be worn. Yes, I come monthly to the library .
