Ballston Lakeview Tavern

I finally ventured out to visit the Ballston Lakeview Restaurant, boy was it worth the trip. Where to start, I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door with a very friendly welcome. I took a seat at the bar since it was just myself, the bartender immediately came over, greeted me and introduced himself. Once I decided what I wanted he was quick to pour my beverage and place my food order. The food came out in good time and was absolutely delicious. I’d highly recommend visiting, I know I’ll be returning.

I love the Ballston Lakeview Tavern. The location is beautiful, overlooking Ballston Lake and facing the sunset. It’s peaceful to watch the boats, ice fishing, small planes landing on the ice, and all manner of relaxing scenes while enjoying great food and time with friends and family. They take pride in what they offer, putting creative twists on classic tavern fare that make each dish distinctive and deeply satisfying. When you enter, you’re greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. There’s a wonderful seating area overlooking the lake, and on a cozy winter day, you can enjoy the fireplace and comfortable seating beside the fire. Food was great! We are a family of 7 so it’s not always easy to go out but this is our second time there as a family, and everyone leaves happy and full! Burgers are exceptional! Glad to have a place like this around now!

I’m a Schenectady native who has been living in Arizona for the last 5 years. My fiancé are in town for a wedding and we’ve been trying to squeeze as much as we can into this trip! I’m so glad we were able to visit Lakeview Tavern last night with the soon-to-be bride! We enjoyed a couple rounds of drinks, mozz sticks and wings (THE BEST), burgers, and the club sandwich. Everything was incredible, but our server Jillian really made the experience! She got us a table by the window overlooking the lake, took our order and brought our food quickly, and made sure our drinks were always full. I’m only disappointed that we won’t have time to eat here again before we go back to AZ!

Lunch on a beautiful day overlooking the frozen lake! Excellent food, cold beer with terrific service and atmosphere! Highly recommend.
