Ball's Fried Chick-N

Great fried chicken. Okra was good but too salty for me. Fish dinner had 2 big pieces of fish. They need to add a few more tables for the noon rush hour!!!! Extra parking across the street on the north side.

I have been stopping at Ball's fried chicken since Reggie opened in 2003. The chicken was spicy, crispy and never dry. It's a very good fried chicken and glad to see the spot resurrected. If traveling through Lake Charles on Interstate 10 it's a short way from the Enterprise Blvd exit

So flavorful, the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The fried okra was so good too (and I’m picky about my fried okra Lol) It does have a kick to it, but our family loves spicy food and this was perfect. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t change a thing. We will be back.

Wow, that was some of the best fried chicken and okra I’ve ever had. Although it looks dark, it does not mean over fried or saturated with oil. Crispy with moist tender meat cooked all the way to the bone. Tried a breast, thigh and leg. Breasts usually dry out. Not this one. For those that are a little spice sensitive, buckle up. Wonderfully seasoned for a subtle Cajun spice on the pallet with a nice warming in the stomach. Even the crisp breading on the okra had a nice spice. Too full to try more than a couple of beans in the red beans and rice but, it tasted right. That’ll be breakfast! 🤣 Make the trip, make the stop. Worthy.

I ordered a 3 piece with fried okra. Well The chicken is overly seasoned and super greasy which made it very hard to eat! The 2 stars is for the fried okra which were very good!
