Ballpark Restaurant

A dinner / restaurant that has been in the area for decades. Great for a breakfast and lunch in my opinion. My recent visit was on a Sunday morning around 10am. I had a veggie omelette that I let the waitress randomly select for me. My reason I rated 3 stars: I observed two waitresses doing 90% of the work and maybe 2-3 “helpers.” This caused people to wait a long time to pay their check or place an order because the “helpers” would just walk by to get other customers refills or clear plates. If more employees could operate the register, service would be so much faster. I observed numerous times other customers request a check so they could leave and they would say, “I’ll get your waitress.” Maybe this works with less customers but when the place is swinging full force, you need better all

Really cool place to see if you're a sports fan. All kinds of historic memorabilia in this place. Food was decent enough & the service was solid.

A friend of mine raved about the crab cakes here and they did not disappoint! I’ve been here a few times for the crab cakes and they have been consistent, which is important. The waitresses are always super sweet. I also like the baseball memorabilia covering the walls, who doesn’t love Cal Ripken Jr.? The desserts are always delicious and fresh as well. This time I had the chocolate mousse pie. I’ll be back!

January 2026 I really wanted to like this place after I walked in and saw the nice collection of Orioles, Colts, Ravens, and other sports memorabilia, but it was a total bust. Prices are very reasonable but you pay for what you get, which is subpar diner food with bad service in this case. The crab cake melt was not bad, but it wasn’t exactly good either. It was very bland and forgettable. But the hot dog was a disaster. It came out cold and we asked to have it warmed up, but almost 15 minutes later the server comes out with the same hot dog completely dried up and obviously microwaved. We were expecting a new hot dog given the extended period of time she was missing in action, so I have no idea what’s going on in their kitchen. Cool, old school baseball themed diner. Came here with my grandmother on the way back from DC to PA. Was a much welcome sight. I liked their menu and enjoyed trying their liver & onion. My grandmother had their surf and turf, a crab cake and Hamburg steak. However, the steak was over cooked to well done despite the medium rare request. The rest of the meal was enjoyable. Vegetable sides dishes were a bit over cooked and slightly bland. Fries were extremely on point. All said and done would recommend coming for for a quick bite while passing through.
