Baking Mama

An actually local store with a wonderful story and homemade goods. Chocolate chip was gooey and perfectly salted. The ube had nice flavor but was underbaked.

Such a cute bakery. A mom and pop business. And " mama " was working there. A picture of her as a little girl is on the wall. They were so friendly. Their cookies are better than great. So soft and delicious. I wish I had three stomachs in order to try everything. Definitely recommend. And they own the coffee shop down the street as well. This shop is tiny and authentic.

Stopped by for a quick sweet treat, decided to get a cinnamon roll! They must have been fresh out the oven and were so warm and tasty! Also grabbed an ube matcha cookie! Plenty of gluten free options, but not a place I would suggest for dine in.

This is the place. The one you have been searching for. That small mom & pop shop with recipes made with love and the ambiance of walking into a loved one’s kitchen. The cookies are exceptional; my current obsession are the ube cookies (unmistakably purple), but the chocolate and sea salt will be my next order. And the cinnamon rolls — words fail me — they are easily some of the best I have ever had. I may have stumbled across this bakery by accident while on a walk, but I purposely make sure to pass by whenever I am in the area!

A local store I was in recommended it and it was amazing. The chocolate chip cookies (there are a few different kins) and cinnamon buns are to die for! People working the counter so nice also (maybe the owners?) and it is only a couple blocks from the train station!
