Bakers Square

Stopped in to pick up some pies 🥧.. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the front door. So we decided to stay and eat breakfast.. The waitress it was very nice and attentive.. My sister had the breakfast skillet 🍳.. She said everything tasted good especially the pancakes 🥞 .. My french toast 🍞 was good even without syrup 🍵.. My eggs 🥚 potatoes 🥔 and sausage 🌭 we're hot and good.. I Definitely will try this place again 🎯 Ps dont forget to get a Pie 🥧..

Hostess was super friendly, the wait staff was attentive. Service was quick. The chicken melt was OK, seemed unseasoned. The fajita melt was delicious. The coleslaw was bland. Seats near the window are drafty, beware. Other than that, clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Service: terrible for this location and paying attention to detail 😩 I can't rate there food base on the pie or atmosphere because it was a pickup order...let's get started. Hello my peeps Twin is back but not good, let's just say for this location and buying pickup order pies was the worst in my 40 years of buy banana cream pies. Let's make this short NEVER SELL a dried up crunchy banana cream pie to anybody let along to a die hard baker square customer for 40 years, the bananas was crunchy and the pudding was dried out....END OF STORY. So I was light on this review because the 40year loyal customer i am and this only happen once.....and I was picking this pie up in INDIANA so drive bake there was NO.🤦‍♂️

My jaw hit the floor and I almost did a backflip walking into Bakers square a couple days before New Year's Eve here in Schererville 2025 as I received a belated Christmas gift. I stopped in to get a simple pumpkin pie I needed in a emergency last minute for a party as I do not come here for pies anymore like I used to before covid and I happened to be driving by. After covid, my number one go to for the holidays Bakers Square pie, Carmel Pecan silk Supreme, the absolute best pie in the world, quit being made in all Chicagoland Bakers Squares. I even talked to the manager here a few years ago, he said they will not be bringing it back as the supply bakeries for Bakers square dropped it from the lineup because of covid. I would like to leave a review for Kaitlyn. I swung by to pick up some pies and the experience I had at this location was unparalleled . She greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and I could tell immediately she loved her job. She took the time to go through the pie selections with me and then pick out the perfect one. I appreciate her customer service and her attitude. If I am in the area again, I would hands-down go back. highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking.
