I've been here a couple times for drinks. Stopped and get the bite to eat got the French onion soup and one of those specials was almost like a steak Ruben. The French onion soup had no depth to it. French onion soup should be rich the flavor should continue as you eat . At the end was just broth. And the take on the steak Ruben great idea great portion Zero taste. I could not get any flavors to melt together it just tastes like there was a little bit of coleslaw and maybe some beef on it. I will be back and I will try other dishes but my experience here it's just three stars

I stopped by here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was pleasantly busy with locals. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing with plenty of seating. My waitress was friendly and attentive. Good was good. I ordered the pot pie Sunday special which came with a roll and salad. For dessert I got the raspberry cheesecake. Food was good and modestly portioned. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the Elkton area and are looking for a nice local restaurant

Stopped in for lunch today . The atmosphere was great , the menu had a great variety of salads, sandwiches and entrees. The waitress was very nice and gave enough time to look over the menu. The 1/2 lb shrimp were steamed perfect , I personally ordered the Alabama slama chicken sandwich and it was definitely delicious. The crab melt was good and the hot turkey was excellent. I definitely will be coming back again...

This is probably a more solid place than I can give it credit for after this visit - I think I just wasn't feeling it. We had the cream of crab soup, salad, chicken fried steak with coleslaw, and prime rib with broccoli. The food was okay. Service was okay. They have done a lot of work to the decor of the building, that was nice. It was weird that we arrived right when they opened, so there really wasn't anyone in there - but the next family that came in was seated directly behind us in the closest booth possible. That was weird. But, we'll give it another try!

I couldn't wait to get the Thursday ' s chicken and dumplings. I also got some fried wings..... Unfortunately the chicken and dumplings did not have enough flavor and I was shocked. Some of the dumplings were huge....like fist size....and the chicken was so salty I had to rinse it a couple of times. One with too much salt the other with not enough. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a take out and discovered this when I got home so I couldn't complain in house. I was again thoroughly disappointed. The young lady who waited on me was very pleasant and appreciated that. I don't think I will be returning though.
