Bahn Pho

Very nice Vietnamese food. We are vegetarian and this is our go to place when we are in Hoboken. Family owned and run cozy place for everyone. Nice staff too

I had been waiting for a good pho spot to open in Hoboken, and this has become my go to anytime I am craving a comforting bowl of soup. As a vegetarian, I order the vegetarian pho and the tofu summer rolls, and both are consistently great. I even bought pho bowls and spoons and sauces for home so I can order takeout and enjoy it there. I once was sick for a week and ordered nearly every day. I have also come here with a friend to dine in, and it was a lovely experience.

One of my favorites in Hoboken. It’s not a huge space, it’s a no frills kind of spot, but the food is so good. The quality to price ratio is what bumps this up to high on my list of Hoboken food spots. Also they have a separate section for vegetarians on their menu (always appreciated). I’ve come here multiple times and my favorites are the Bahn Mi and the pho. Side note: the Pad Thai was spicy when we ordered it (it was delicious!! just an fyi for those with a low spice tolerance bc it wasn’t indicated on the menu).

Ambiance is nice, could use some music maybe better artwork. Menu at a glance very easy to read, self explanatory. Prices are really fair in my opinion. There might be a slight language barrier depending your server but that’s always a good sign. If anything our waiteress came off a bit rude which if the food is AMAZING, then that’s that but if the food is just BASIC well…. I’m here w my partner and while i wait, i ordered about 4 out of the 6 appetizers that they have here. The other was a salad (not very interesting if you ask me) and then the summer role, didn’t really peak my interest. From the Bahn Mi aka the sandwiches i ordered the smoke brisket one, it sounded the best. The special…. not a fan of the idea of a “patty” baguette right now and didn’t want a grilled sandwich either. Ha

This place has been our go to place dining in or takeout favorite. They are very clean. The food is on point every time. Some of our favorites are the pho, Banh mi sandwiches and vermicelli/rice bowl. Their portions are generous. We only had some difficulty few times with take out order as some staff are not fluent in English. We have done team lunches and frequent takeouts.
