Bagels on Pointe

Took 30 minutes to get two breakfast sandwiches. I went back up to inquire about the status of our order because many people had come in, ordered, ate, and left while I was still waiting. It seemed like they forgot to put it in, but I never got an explanation or response to the mistake. When the food finally came out, there was almost nothing on the sandwich. It was a busy time of the day, and I believe there may have been someone new training, so I completely understand that mistakes happen and have no blame for the employees. But the quality of the food that came out after all that was shocking. I’ve been here a handful of times, and it has gotten worse each time, so it may be time to check out the other bagel shops in the area.

I gave 3 stars because the bagels are delicious. I’m a New Yorker and these bagels are on “pointe”, but….. scrambled with bacon where is the egg? Bacon and cream cheese, where is the cream cheese. I know I’m not in NY right now and honestly am grateful to have found these gems but when it comes to your sandwiches you gotta do better. I would rather pay an extra dollar or 2 and get a “full” sandwich. I will be taking some bagels with me when I leave because l in e I said your bagels are gems. Thank you.

The worker doesn’t want you to bother her. The rudeness was alarming and nothing is fresh. The bagel is a hard disc and she gave me a tablespoon of cream cheese. I wanted an iced coffee, but it ran out as I was pouring, and I asked her if there was more and she told me to just to use the hot coffee over the half cup of ice in my plastic cup. I stink like bacon grease after leaving.

This place is so cute. Not only are their bagels good but their muffins are amazing!

This place is a hidden gem, especially in the South, where replicating authentic New York–style bagels is no small feat. The people are awesome the workers are super efficient and great people. Bagels on pointe deserves some recognition from all Long Island New Yorkers who live down south in Wilmington. It’s hard to find a good bagel spot like this in the South.
