Bagel Supreme

Stopped in early morning about a quarter after seven in the morning on a Thursday, walked in and it was very clean but nothing spectacular inside. It’s a small place with two tables, for seating of four at each. You can sit down and wait for your order or you can have a seat and eat. Wait time was under five minutes for them to take my order and another five minutes or so for it to be completed. I was going to order a plain bagel but I noticed they had a tray of croissants off to the side, so I ordered one lighty toasted and lighty buttered. I was a tad disappointed because they appeared freshly baked but when I tried it, I didn’t get that freshness feeling. Got here 5:50 am to attend the pre bike ride before NYC Marathon start. Shop opened early and line had already formed with many New York’s Finest in blue. The wait was only 5 minutes, line moved quickly. I ordered the 3 egg whites on a bagel and was charged $5. I pointed out to the cashier that the menu overhead states $4.25. She said it’s the tax. Looking at the receipt, there was a discrepancy. Not wanting to hold up the line and fuss over 75 cents, I moved aside. Either she is incorrect or the system hasn’t been updated to reflect the new higher price. Coffee was a good deal for a medium size at $2. Also able to sit inside away from the cold autumn air. Place does look quite busy, not sure if the marathon played a role in this or food is just good. I do hope they rectify the price is

I miss this place while I working at the VA. I usually get the French Toast bagel with cream cheese and jelly. I plan to pay visit before the year ends and surprise myself with something different. Glad to see there still open. I'm not surprise. Spectacular shop.

Great little spot for a quick and yummy breakfast. Staff is always friendly and orders come out in a timely manner. My favorite is a toasted sesame bagel with lox spread but we've also tried their breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos and been happy with what we got. It's my go to bagel spot in Bay Ridge.

Letting you know in advance, it’ll take some time for your order because there’s only 2-3 people FOH. That being said; new favorite breakfast spot. Toasted Everything w/ Lox spread, onion, tomato & avocado for $8.49 w/ tax! AND they’ll even throw in a free bag of chips.
