Bad Ass Cafe

Probably one of the most popular places on the boardwalk! Usually a good crowd here throughout the day. Fortunately, there's always a spot when we go. Service is fast and good. Great portion sizes too. Many tasty drinks to choose from. I got the hurricane. Not as strong as advertised but still very good. My burger was straight from a dream! Never had a better "kick in the balls!" 😂It was delicious! I cannot believe I finished it. Came here twice during my most recent trip to OC. Built my own burger the second time. Prices were decent too. Get the souvenir cup or a tshirt on your way out. This is the spot!

Double sided entrance whether it's from the boardwalk or the parking lot. The place is Fully decorated and great quotes every direction you look. Keep an eye out, they're hilarious and every drinkers' life motto. Drinks pack a punch and made with love as the bartenders are super friendly. Food is pretty flavorful and so filling - so many items and such a wide variety on the menu regardless of what you're feeling for. Breakfast, Brunch, lunch, dinner - they got it all and if not they'll customize whatever order. The waffle fries were the perfect compliment to any dish.

Food was delicious (as always) but it was raining and they put us at a table that was noticeably getting wet. Waitress was scarce because she was eating nachos with a few of the other waitresses. Although the place was busy, oftentimes groups of staff could be seen (and heard) standing around talking.

We stopped in for a later bite and were seated quickly. Service was great, tenative and friendly. Food took no time at all to come out. Burger was excellent, very tasty, cooked exactly as I asked. The pasta salad was a great choice for something different other than fries, had a great crunch to it. My hubby ordered a club sandwich, which was packed full. My daughter had already had a dinner, and wanted a salad which was crisp and fresh. The prices are to be as expected being located on the boardwalk.

Nine at night, blustery winds, many open booths and we asked for a corner booth because we have a service dog, girl waitress said she could t give us the corner and wanted to put us in the aisle booth for two people and nowhere for their service dog to sit. It lost a valuable customer that night as we went to Hammerheads and had a blast there with the drinks and lice music!
