Backhome Coffee Roaster

Stopped in for some coffee and a light lunch. It was our first time in Sarnia and we were certainly not disappointed! I had the gingerbread latte and also got their chicken salad sandwich and that must have been one of the best lunches i’ve ever had! Staff were also super friendly, and I was so happy that they offer decaf options for all their drinks.

Had a great conversation with owner as she is also from bc. Coffee roaster offer dog friendly patio seating outside and unique character indoor experience. Coffee was great had a white peach matcha and ice coffee black. Didn't try out the pastry but they look appetizing. Service was personable and prompt.

The street front looks okay, but doesn't do justice once you walk in the door. Beautifully decorated! Great ambiance! Good selection of coffee, scones, desserts. They today their brand on site, the c lady who owns it is a Sarnia native, she moved away f it r a number of years and decided she wanted to come back home and offer this to Sarnia. There's a man and his mom that works with her, they all work together well and are friendly and hard working people. Will be back here for sure! Update: They've added stained glass to their front window and had more curb appeal now. Inside was nice before but even more so more, such a lovely place to spend time in Would like to see more choices of soups there.

Amazing breakfast sandwich !!! Mouthwatering apple pie. Not too sweet, perfectly seasoned. Yummy latte and cappuccinos and friendly staff. Also a very nice atmosphere

I stumbled on this quaint coffee shop on Christina Street in Sarnia. Friendly service and yummy desserts. I never saw a roaster before so they were nice enough to let me take a picture. I haven't been in the downtown area of Sarnia in probably 40 years so this was a nice experience.
