Backdraft

This is one of my go-to restaurants since I moved into the area. It never disappoints. I got the shrimp quesadilla and tots. The food was great and so was the service.

What a wonderful restaurant. The staff treated us like we’ve known each other for years. It was our first time there. Then, the food came. WOW!!! We could have shared my husband’s platter. There was a live band. No complaints. No issues.

Wow! We have lived in Hague for several months and just visited Backdraft the first time today. We are sorry we waited so long. The food was fabulous. The hostess and server went out of their way to answer our (many) questions and make us feel welcome. I had the Triple Decker Reuben with onion rings and my husband had the Seafood Sampler with cole slaw. Everything we had was amazing. Sadly, I went for the Banana Split...but did not have room after the sandwich. Guess we will have to go back...a few more times to try some other dishes! Good job, Backdraft staff! You made our first visit extremely pleasant.

I had a great time here, meeting an old friend. Kinda crowded on a Saturday afternoon, with only one server and a bartender, but the service was friendly and drinks came fast. Food was very good and timely. Nice selection of drinks. Very cool place.

Update! Second time was a charm. Staff was great. Not rushed to leave. Hot dog was tasty. Drinks were good. Will return. Also with first review, I got an immediate response from them and they wanted to correct things. Impressed. The lot was full so my daughter was excited to try it. Walked in and was shocked that they had a smoking section. Didn't even know they were allowed. Sat in the non-smoking section but could smell the smoke when the door opens. Ordered burger and tator tots. One not cooked other was burnt. Burger was ordered as medium and received raw.
